Nikari is a Finnish brand founded in 1967 by Kari Virtanen that specializes in sustainable wood design products of exquisite quality. The furniture is manufactured in Fiskars at the oldest machinery workshop in the country and the wood is from local suppliers. The timber is from nearby forests and is picked in close collaboration with Nikaris cabinetmakers and the wood suppliers to insure the best possible quality for each specific project. Nikari masterfully combines contemporary design with both state-of-the-art technology and traditional handicraft. Nikari has a temporary showroom together with Woodnotes on Yrjönkatu 8 at the moment, Lokal on Annankatu 9 sells Nikari as well in Helsinki or you can contact them here for inquiries.
