Photos via Sebastian Herkner for Polpa

Oda by Sebastian Herkner for Polpa is just divine. I need this light in my life, badly. It’s one of those things you fall in love with immediately. Herkner was inspired by the massive water towers in Germany or more specifically the pictures of the towers taken by German photographers Bernd and Hilla Becher. The glass is mouthblown and comes in opal, grey and amber. I think the design more resembles an octopus but beautiful nonetheless. Love it!
